The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, lead the sudden inspection (sidak) of groundwater utilization, provision of infiltration wells, and wastewater treatment plants in one of the multi-storey buildings in central of Jakarta. This inspection purpose is to ensure that the rules (the Governor’s Decree No 279, 2018) has been complied or has not.
The team that Anies lead consist of elements from Regional Work Units (SKPD) and related agencies such as the Department of Human Settlements, Spatial Planning and Land Affairs; Environmental services; Satpol PP; The Department of Water Resources; and the Soil Conservation Agency.
