Three areas in West Jakarta are targeted to be initial projects in overcoming land subsidence by Japanese government agencies to assist developing countries, namely the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). These projects were included in action plan and would cooperate with other related authorities. This countermeasures implementation would also affect the handling of tidal flooding in West Jakarta.
